GRACEWELL CIVIL CONSULTANCY

Laboratory Services

As detailed on the Geo-technical/Soil Investigation Page, Gracewell Civil Consultancy is proficient in executing drilling and sampling of cores necessary to measure and analyze soil properties. This page will provide an overview of the laboratory services we conduct on core and soil samples.

Our fully-equipped Geo-technical Laboratory is capable of determining a wide range of soil properties. Some soil properties are intrinsic to the soil matrix composition and remain unaffected by sample disturbance, while others depend on both the soil's structure and composition, requiring testing on relatively undisturbed samples. A well-planned and properly executed laboratory testing program is essential for obtaining the soil and/or rock properties needed for geotechnical analyses and developing geotechnical models. To achieve accurate results, soil and rock samples must be carefully collected in the field and properly stored.
